Some good news and some bad news
It's 4am, June 9th
In 17 days I am eligible for Social Security

That reduces the time to complete this time machine for which I have contracted
Billy Pilgrim has assured me that it will be ready in time
Because of my confidence in completing the device, I am going to postpone
the deck party on the 26th
I plan on going back to spring training and starting the Giants season over again

When I sent the email describing the party, I indicated a chili feed later in the summer
That is still in the works
I will be the person putting the most pressure on me to build the chili

I am feeling ok
This postponement is because I have not had time to get together the requisites
to make the party a success
Not that I ever have it together, but the helper elves need to receive instructions
which are not yet formulated
I have received invitations from some email list recipients and will be attending
birthday dinners during the month
Maybe I can extend this into July

Also remember that this year my half-birthday is a big one
750 months old
One-sixteenth of century
Does anyone care about this but me?
